I’ve had a few SCORE clients come to me and ask for help on turning their jewelry-making hobby into a business. It’s usually hard to help them because trinket jewelry has to be sold in volume to be profitable. And expensive jewelry, which has higher profits per item, is expensive to make. So I have found it is not really a small business to pursue. And the instant book does not explain otherwise.
